Renewal by Andersen® of Central Pennsylvania: Investing in Our Communities All Year Long
The strength of Renewal by Andersen is our people: from top to bottom, our employees have a passion for our work, care deeply for our organization, and are empowered to make a difference – not just at work, but in our communities as well. It isn’t just a single cause or a one-time donation here or there. Renewal by Andersen of Central PA adopts and invests in our communities all year long.
Below you’ll find some of the deserving organizations and charities that we’ve supported (and continue to support) throughout our years of being a part of the Central PA community. We’re proud of the work that these important partners do in making our world a better place for all of us and more than happy to help them in their goals.
Speranza Animal Rescue
Speranza Animal Rescue is a non-profit, 100% volunteer run rescue, rehabilitation center and sanctuary committed to saving the most abused and neglected animals with the goal of finding loving homes for as many of them as possible. Speranza is located on a 17.5 acre farm in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania which provides the perfect setting to offer time, patience and love to those animals needing a second chance.
Speranza, which means “hope” in Italian, is an all-breed rescue focusing on pit bulls and other bully breeds as well as farm animals who may have ended up in kill pens or been destined for slaughter.
Renewal by Andersen supports Speranza’s efforts to rehabilitate the most severely abused and neglected animals through it’s Renewal Cares initiative, providing critical food and supplies.
YWCA of Greater Harrisburg
The YWCA Greater Harrisburg provides safe, secure housing and services for women and youth and has developed additional programs and services to meet the ever-changing needs of a diverse population of women, children, men and families.
The YWCA is the leading women’s organization in the Pennsylvania Capital region, serving Dauphin, Cumberland and Perry Counties.
Most recently, Renewal by Andersen of Central PA joined the YWCA to support the organization’s 130th Anniversary and their mission to help women and children escape violence, including domestic abuse and human trafficking.
Veterans Outreach of Pennsylvania
Veterans Outreach of Pennsylvania (VOPA) works to combat homelessness among Veterans by providing support and services needed to promote an empowered life filled with strength and purpose.
The organization recently completed construction on a tiny homes village for Veterans experiencing homelessness in Central PA in honor of the service of all Veterans and active duty personnel.
Renewal by Andersen of Central PA partnered with VOPA on this effort, donating more than half a million dollars in windows, doors, transoms, sidelights and installation services for its Tiny Home and Community Center Initiative.
