Happy Thanksgiving! Halloween just ended and you are look forward to a happy holiday season filled with lots of laughs, friends, family and very little stress. To enhance your holiday spirit, we have included small tips to stay warm during the cold weather, as well as a recipe for Hot Chocolate courtesy of Paula Dean!
- Keep all doors closed to unused rooms.
- Make yourself a hot drink!
- Invest in a pair of slippers if your floors are not carpeted.
- Open blinds to let the sun in and light candles, trust us, it makes a difference.
- Leave oven door open after cooking and let the heat out into your home – be careful of any children or pets!
- Invest in big sweaters and comfortable socks and pants – layering your clothes can help keep your thermostat down.
- Make sure your heads, hands and feet are well covered if you venture outside. Heat escapes from those body parts most.
- Work out in the cold – I know it is probably the last thing on your mind, but it will boost endorphins and get blood pumping and heat up your skin.
- Check windows for leaks and call RBA Central PA if you need a free window diagnosis!!
