Is It Time to Replace Your Home’s Windows?

Ultimately, every home’s windows will need to be replaced at some point in a homeowner’s lifetime.  Still, some homeowners may be hesitant because they aren’t sure if their windows are still working at tip-top shape.

1. Your heating bill keeps going up and up.

Windows with wooden frames may look quaint, but odds are high that the wood was never treated or sealed.  Therefore, insects, mold and moisture will begin to eat away at the grains until the window’s stability is compromised.  Wood that has begun to rot will need to be removed, and if the wood is attached to a window, it’s the perfect time to purchase a replacement.
